Concordia Voices is a well-established chamber choir of about 30 mixed voices. We enjoy singing a wide range of music, both sacred and secular, spanning five centuries, from the Renaissance to the present day. The choir performs both church services and concerts, some with other groups such as the Richmond Shakespeare Society, Surrey Brass and local schools. In addition there are occasional other activities (charity concerts, supporting local events and special celebrations) and we also tour from time to time, in the UK and abroad. The choir is always interested in finding new venues.

The choir is based in Hampton Hill, Middlesex, on the outskirts of London, and rehearses in the United Reform Church. Our year is structured into three terms, each with a concert, usually with seven rehearsals in the weeks before.

We are still around!

A New Year, a New Plan…
Sing Joyfully!

2021 started on a pretty familiar note, with continuing restrictions. We have continued to rehearse online, but the news is encouraging and we hope to resume in-person rehearsals towards the end of May.

As always, we welcome inquiries from prospective new members.

Our summer concert, “Sing Joyfully”, celebrating our return to live performance, will now take place on Saturday 10th July in St Mary’s Church, Twickenham.

Including a range of works chosen by choir members from our wide repertoire to mark our 20th Anniversary in 2020, this concert will also feature” Reasons For Singing”, a newly-commissioned work by our Assistant Conductor, Paul Ayres. We are greatly enjoying rehearsing the beautiful and varied music for this concert and look forward very much to sharing it with you.

On Saturday 4th December 2021 in St John the Divine, Richmond, we have planned a wonderful, Christmas-themed celebration with contributions from the Surrey Brass Quintet; not to be missed.

Thank you for visiting our website; do continue to check for updates!
